Paul D. Weill

1930 - 2013

Paul Davis Weill, 83, of the Weatogue section of Simsbury, beloved husband of Carole E. (Hansen) Weill, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at John Dempsey Hospital. He was born September 16, 1930 in Yonkers, NY, son of the late Paul and Helen (Davis) Weill and had lived in Farmingdale, NY prior to moving to Weatogue 47 years ago. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served as an Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Paul was a graduate of Washington & Lee University, Class of 1952, having received his Bachelors Degree in Geology. Mr. Weill was a Structured Benefit Consultant for Aetna for 33 years prior to his retirement in 1998. He was active in his children's athletic activities having been a Little League Baseball Coach and a Wrestling Referee. He enjoyed going music concerts and watching and following sports. Besides his loving wife of 56 years, he is survived by his daughter, Gail C. Stomski and her husband Michael of Tariffville; three sons, Gary P. Weill and his wife Nancie of Farmingdale, NY, Greg A. Weill and his wife Corrine of Newburg, NY and Glen D. Weill of Weatogue; five grandchildren, Brenna, Bridget and Braden Weill and Justin and Matthew Weill; his sister, Rosalie Rechholtz of Bar Harbor, ME.
