COONEY, Pauline M.
Pauline M. Cooney, 73, of Enfield, entered into eternal peace Saturday, June 29, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of the late George and Margaret (Provan) Cedarstrom, Pauline was born and raised in Quincy, MA and had lived in Enfield since 1969. She had been employed at the Phoenix for several years before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafts. She is survived by her four sons, Edward C. Cooney III and his wife Lauren of Jericho, VT, Thomas Cooney and his partner Regina Calderon of Corvallis, OR, Mark Cooney and his wife Sarah of Enfield, and Paul Cooney and his wife Jennifer of Agawam, MA; five grandchildren, Sydney and Jared Cooney, Sean and Meghan Cooney, and Robert Cooney; two brothers, Kenneth Cedarstrom and his wife Louise of Hanover, MA, and Norman Cedarstrom and his wife Teri of Norwell, MA. She was predeceased by her former husband, Edward C. Cooney, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday July 3rd at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT. Her family will receive relatives and friends for one hour of visitation prior to the service from 10 - 11 a.m. Wednesday morning. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pauline's memory may be made to Masonicare Partners Home Health & Hospice, 111 Founders Plaza, Suite 200, East Hartford, CT 06108.
