CUSCOVITCH, Peter John
Peter John Cuscovitch, 67, of Ellington passed away on Friday, July 5th. Born October 5, 1945 in Hartford. Peter was the son of the late Agnes Pianka Cuscovitch and Samuel Cuscovitch, Sr. Peter was raised in Enfield, a graduate of the class of 1963 then graduating from American International College with a degree in psychology. Mainly settled in the Enfield-Springfield area, he managed an I.T. career working for various local firms and independently. Peter was a gifted, witty and entertaining writer. He enjoyed conversations about politics, sports, and social issues. He loved nature and animals, especially dogs his most recent being Talijo who survives him. Peter was a familiar sight on nature walks, his favorite being the Powder Hollow section of Hazardville near where the Pianka family resided and family members learned to swim and enjoy nature. Kind to small animals, Peter would entice squirrels with peanuts into his home and feed them. He enjoyed self-style travel, his trips to Latin American countries and its culture being his favorite. An avid bridge player, he last played with the very kind group at S Windsor Sr. Center. Peter will be missed very much by his brother Sam, wife Patricia, son Ryan, daughter Jennifer Gladu, grandnephew Bradley, and cousin Lynn Plante of Longmeadow. The family is gracious for the support given by Pete's neighbors (especially Sheila & Russ) at Stoneridge Apartments allowing Peter to maintain an independent lifestyle despite his long struggle with Parkinson's. Despite his illness, Peter attended to his late mother's needs arising out of her long-term illness with demenstia. He is now free of his bondage and his free spirit will soar high in the heavens.
