DAIGNEAULT, Philip, Jr.
Philip Daigneault, the U.S. Flagman, loving husband of Joyce Daigneault passed on from this life surrounded by his loving family on October 11, 2013. He was born Philippe Daigneault, Jr. to Philippe and Aurora Daigneault, in North Adams, MA. As a disabled World War II veteran, he dedicated his life to serving the USA by developing and displaying "The American History in Flags" free of charge nationwide for 22 years to teach and encourage patriotism. He received countless honors from various dignitaries, including a personal thank you in the oval office from Presidents Ronald Regan and George Bush, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Joyce, sons David, Donald, Sisters Rita, Viola, and Lillian, his grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. All of whom he loved dearly. He is proceeded by his parents, brother Gene, and granddaughter Jillian.
Funeral service will be held on November 2, at 11 a.m., at the States Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT. Please see facebook page "In memory of Philip Daigneault". In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a cancer charity of your choice.
