Rachel Richardson came to Glastonbury for many years and taught 3 of our children to play the piano beautifully. She even continued the lessons at her house in Bloomfield during the summer!!!! Our Sue continues to play for friends in Suffield. Tom supplied all the music for my sister's wedding in Glastonbury. While Nancy loved music, she did not continue with her piano activity as an adult. We think of Rachel whenever we hear piano music. Rachel contributed immensely to our appreciation of music. I think of her every time I hear piano music.

Rachel was a wonderful artist, teacher and person. She was a terrific accompanist for me in my early formative years as a classical singer. Her elegance, wisdom and artistry were an inspiration to many.

We have such precious memories of Rachel as she came to Glastonbury to teach 2 of our kids to become quite accomplished pianists. Franklin, you may remember a little red headed lad and a highly spirited little girl at your house many days during a couple of summers as Rachel patiently worked with them year round. We have such fond memories of Rachel, a talented, gracious, great lady.

She was the best piano teacher I ever had and wouldn't be playing music today with out her. Rest in peace.
