PANTI, Rizalino J.

Rizalino Java Panti, 46, of Granby, beloved husband of Marife (DeLacruz) Panti, passed away on Sunday, (October 13, 2013) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in The Philippines to the late Jorge Alejandro and Lourdes (Java) Panti, he earned his BS in Civil Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology and worked in Switzerland for over three years before moving to the U.S. with his family in 2011. Rizalino worked as a project manager for Alstom. He was dedicated to his work - never stopping until it was completed. He enjoyed playing basketball and watching all types of sports. However, his true passion lay with his family. He loved them wholly and unconditionally. He gave advice to his children - teaching them the importance of education, showing ways to continue improving their lives and reaching for their dreams. A devoted husband and father, he will be dearly missed. Besides his wife Marife of Granby, he is survived by his children, Harold D. Panti, Elyssa D. Panti, Rizza D. Panti and Lyn Maria Fe D. Panti; his brother Boyet Panti of the Philippines; and his sisters Trinidad and Belen Panti, both of the Philippines. Besides his parents, a sister predeceased him.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 18 at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. His family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
