Rosemary, Peggy, Marion & John,
Reading the Guest Book, I never experienced her kitchen skills ?, but I do remember her little garden and a strawberry rhubarb pie I made with rhubarb she gave me, Yum!!
On Saturdays I would give Rose a Hot Stone Massage (she would invariably hide or “steal” one of my stones for later). After our sessions, Peggy or Norma would fix her lunch on the porch – she always enjoyed watching the birds and the squirrels have theirs, too.
Other things I will remember about Rose – how she took pleasure in teaching me how to tie my shoelaces so they would STAY tied, just like hers! And those special head massages she gave to all of her children both when they were small and when they all grew up... and how they PRAISED and LOVED her soothing touch. And knitting... she was ALWAYS knitting those squares - I'm sure there were more than 1,001 squares. She even asked me to donate a bunch of them to the Humane Society for the cats and puppies for her. Peggy would put the squares together and donate the finished quilts to other charities…Rose kept those squares coming!! ?
She always had that twinkle in her eye & a cute little giggle...
It was an honor to know her and to have had the privilege of being her Massage Therapist. (BTW, let me know if you ever find those Hot Stones she used to "steal" from me ?)
Rose, I celebrate your Life, your Love for your family, and your Gleeful Little Spirit. Rest in Peace!!!

I am very sad that Aunt Rose has gone. She was such a special, gentle soul. I remember so much of her from when we were all young. I spent a lot of time in your home learning from her, visiting with all of you, watching her cook on that special red table. Sitting at a small table with Brub and being a nurse to Rosemarie. Over the years she taught me some about gardening and I still have plants in my yard that she gave me and I treasure them. I loved being with her and she made me laugh. Much love to all of you. Love, Sandy, Lee and Anthony

It is very sad to have my Aunt Rose gone. My sympathies to all of you. I have many, many fond memories of being in the house with all of you--visiting, cooking, being a nurse, and having tea parties when I was young. Aunt Rose taught me some of her gardening tips and I have some plants in my yard that she gave me from hers. We will all miss her very much. Love, Sandy, Lee and Anthony

Rosemarie (Godmother,) Brub (Godfather), Peggy and John,
It is hard to know what to say except that no time on earth is long enough to share with those we love or to prepare our hearts for good-bye. We will miss Aunt Rose's welcoming smile, her apron always at the ready, the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen and Joe will especially miss her pizzelles. My fondest memories are of spending the day in the back yard canning pears with her, listening to her tell stories, of “ Pugsie” learning to walk.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
