Rose Victoria Staples

Rose Victoria (Farias) Staples, 86, of Middletown, wife of the late Judson B. Staples, passed away on Tuesday, November 19th at Wadsworth Glen Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Raynham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Correira) Farias. Rose lived most of her life in Cromwell retiring to Cape Cod where she loved the ocean and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of Saint John Church and was employed by Fafnir Bearings Manufacturing Company for many years. Rose is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Quick and her husband, Donald of Cromwell; a sister, Shandra Silva of North Falmouth, MA; four grandchildren, Russell Quick, II, Andrew Frost, Matthew Frost, and Donnell Sheffield and four great grandchildren, Chris, Ava Rose, Logan, and Michael. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26 at 11 a.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell. Burial will follow in Cromwell Hillside Cemetery East.
