Rosemary Konopaske

Rosemary (Paoletti) Konopaske, 84, of Terryville, widow of Raymond E. Konopaske, Sr. died Thursday (December 26, 2013) at UCONN Health Center, Farmington. Rosemary was born Feb. 17, 1929 in Terryville, CT. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Sophie (Yarema) Paoletti and has been a long time resident of Terryville. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, and sister and will be dearly missed. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville. Early in her life Rosemary worked at the Andrew Terry Company, Aetna, Travelers, Howard Johnson and Mott's Pharmacy. She was a fantastic cook and many of her recipes are treasured by her family. In her later years she enjoyed shopping and going places with her family. Rosemary is survived by her children, Paul Konopaske and his wife Stacey of North Granby, Kim Fallon and her husband Peter of Meredith, NH, Raymond Konopaske Jr. and his wife Linda of Terryville; her sisters, Eleanor Taylor of Boothbay Harbor, ME and Sandra Bullard of Enfield. In addition, she leaves her wonderful grandchildren, Brett and Zachary Konopaske, Peter and Hayley Fallon, Stephanie and Kyle Konopaske. She also leaves a special friend, Luenda, and her daughters, Richelle and Richeeba. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, 11:30AM at the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery at the family's convenience. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville is in charge of arrangements.
