NELSON, Rosemary G. (Gingrave)
Rosemary G. (Gingrave) Nelson, 86, of South Windsor, beloved wife of the late George I. Nelson, died Wednesday (October 9, 2013) at home. Born in Hartford on September 22, 1927 daughter of the late Michael and Maria (Yanelli) Gingrave she had lived in South Windsor for many years. Rosemary was employed in banking for 40 years with Northeast Bank, ADP, CBT and South Windsor Bank and Trust Company. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, South Windsor. She leaves two sons, Peter Nelson and his fiancée Brenda Williams of Broad Brook and William Nelson in Rhode Island; a brother, Michael Gingrave in Rhode Island; two grandchildren, Brian and Christopher Nelson and many dear friends. She was predeceased by a sister Constance Bernabucci.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, Oct. 18 at Noon at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 673 Ellington Road, South Windsor, followed by burial at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Her family will receive friends, Friday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to South Windsor Food Bank, 150 Nevers Road, South Windsor, CT 06074.
