Ruth A. Kleiman

Born in 1920 in Springfield, MA, Ruth Kleiman was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and new great-grandmother. She attended American International College. She married her husband Albert Kleiman and lived in West Hartford, CT for more than 50 years in the home they built at 58 Rockledge Dr. They also spent many wonderful years at their summer home in Niantic, CT with their family and their winters in South Palm Beach. Ruth was a painter, animal lover, and volunteer, giving her time at her synagogue Beth Israel, Temple Emmanuel, Avery Heights, and the Noah Webster House. Ruth's warmth, kindness, and humor will be deeply missed. Ruth leaves behind two sons Richard, and his wife, Harlene, of Springfield, MA, and Theodore, and his wife Linda, of Fargo, ND; four grand children, Sarah, Alexis, T'Anne and Kent, and great-grand child Elle. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Albert Kleiman, and her son, Mark. Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, January 15th, 2014 at noon in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington, Ave., Hartford, CT. Shiva will be observed at Richard Kleiman's home, 216 Shawmut St, Springfield, MA, 7pm Wednesday.
