Sally BASSANO Obituary
BASSANO, Sally Jean
Sally Jean Bassano, of Hartford, beloved daughter of Angeline (Sylvester) Bassano of Hartford and the late Matthew Bassano, passed away Wednesday, (November 6, 2013). She was born March 8, 1947 in Hartford and was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Bulkeley High School, class of 1966 and worked for many years at V&G Food Sales Inc., Hartford. In addition to her mother, Sally will be dearly missed by her adored daughter, Michele Matthews of Hartford; three sisters, Patricia Ulery and her husband Guy of East Lyme, Christine Daly and her husband Joe of West Hartford and Maria Dixon of Vernon; her longtime friend, Robert Viscone of Bloomfield and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday (November 16) at 12 noon at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service, from 10:30-12, at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sally's memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 659 Tower Ave., First Floor, Hartford, CT 06112.
