Sally Holbink Obituary
Sally Holbink, age 83, wife of the late George Holbink and resident of Ansonia, passed away December 26, 2013. She was born July 19, 1930 in Derby, daughter of the late Dimitro & Mary Nestor Bodiak. Sally graduated from Ansonia High School and worked as a waitress at the former Rapp's Paradise Inn. She was a longtime member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia. She is survived by her son James Holbink of Chester, CT., daughter Sue Ellen Holbink of Falls City, Washington State, sister Helen Bodiak of Ansonia and grandchildren Jody Holbink of Westbrook, CT, Jenny Holbink of Berlin, CT & Molly Holbink of N. Branford, CT. Funeral services will be held at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia on Monday, Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. (http://www.jenkinskingfh.com/). Friends may call from 10 - 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The American Cancer Society, 1075 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT. 06708.
