Salvatore BAFUMI Obituary
BAFUMI, Salvatore "Santino"
Salvatore "Santino" Bafumi, 69, Husband of Angela A. Ruffino of Middletown passed away Sunday surrounded by his loving family. Salvatore was born in Melilli, Sicily on Nov. 3, 1943, son of the Late Sebastiano Bafumi and Rosaria Milardo. Besides his Wife, he is survived by his sons and daughter-in-laws, Sebastian and Renee Bafumi of East Hampton, Salvatore and Doreen Bafumi of Middletown and Stephen and Kelly Bafumi of Old Lyme. He is also survived by two Brothers, Sebastiano Bafumi and Giuseppe Bafumi, both of Melilli, Sicily. He also leaves behind six Grandchildren, Isabella, Arianna, Salvatore Jr., Samuel, Anthony and Thomas as well as several Nieces and Nephews. He is predeceased by his Brothers Pietro Bafumi, Vittorio Bafumi, and Luigi Bafumi. Salvatore was a Beloved Husband and Father who adored his Grandchildren. He was also an avid gardener and loved making his own wine.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday morning at 10 at St. Sebastian Church followed by an internment in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery. Family and friends may call the D'Angelo Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
