GOD'S OWN SON
God sent His only Son,
And to Silas said well done!
Uncle Silas is the one
Honored here
His rest has come
Honor bound and glory given
Down his heavy burdens lifted
Through the wonders of this life
To a bright and shiny light
Now his family carries on
Singing such a lovely song
Bout a man who lent his hand
To the ones could hardly stand
Without the help of such a one
As Silas Thompson
God's own son
