CLINTON, Stacey Lawrence
Stacey Lawrence Clinton, 61, passed away Tuesday (August 20, 2013) at the J. F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville, NC. A native of Rocky Hill, he was born November 3, 1951 to Beatrice Lyons Clinton of Canton, GA and the late Lawrence E. Clinton. He is also predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Brazeau Clinton who passed away November 3, 1982. Mr. Clinton attended North Eastern University Lincoln College, and later became a self-employed Master Carpenter. Mr. Clinton was an Eagle Scout, and he enjoyed fishing, reading, NASCAR, and crossword puzzles. Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Wheelahan of Mission Viejo, CA; brother, Bruce Clinton (Susan) of Rocky Hill, and Old Saybrook; sister, Marianne Clinton Torchia (James) of Canton, GA; three grandchildren, Trey, Mason, and Ashton Wheelahan; nephews, Matthew and Thomas Clinton and Jason and Brian Torchia; and niece, Lisa Torchia.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be held at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CarePartners Hospice Foundation at P.O. Box 25338 Asheville, NC 28813 or call, (828) 277-4815.
