LYSIK, Stanislaw
Stanislaw Lysik, 93, of Tolland, beloved husband of Bronislawa (Dabros) Lysik, passed away Saturday, (July 20, 2013) at home surrounded by his family. he was born May 8, 1920 in Poland the son of the late Franciszek and Zofia (Adamczyk) Lysik. He was an avid reader of world news, enjoyed politics and history. He loved fishing, gardening, and sports the Red Sox and Patriots. Besides his wife; he is survived by five children, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at SS Cyril & Methodius Church, 55 Charter Oak Ave., Hartford on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Britain. His family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St, Rockville, CT. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr. , Wallingford, CT 06492. For on line condolences please visit www.pietrasfuneralhome.com.
