RICHARD, Stanley J.
Stanley J. Richard, 86, of Southington, passed away on June 22, 2013. He was the loving husband of the late Annette (Dumond) Richard. He was born in West Enfield, ME on Sept. 14, 1926, the son of the late Simon and Selina (Theriault) Richard. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II, Prior to his retirement Stanley was employed by Emhart in Berlin. Stan loved music and dancing. He enjoyed making puzzles and had a passion for woodworking, but most important to him was his family, who always came first. He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Taylor of Maineville, OH, Karen Schieman and husband Karl of Middletown and Cynthia Trivella and husband Peter of Libertytownship, OH, four grandchildren, Shawn and Glenn Taylor and Daniel and John Makula, five great-grandchidren Layla and Eleanor Taylor, Michael and Anthony Morafates and Emily Makula.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St. at 10:30 a.m. Burial, with military honors, will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 9-10 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. For online condolences and directions visit www.dellavecchiafh.com
