Hi everyone,
That's a fantastic picture of Sue and will remember her like that when she was happy and healthy. I miss her already.
My way of dealing with this tragic loss is to image a place where there is no need for money, so there would be no need for greed and corruption. Where everyone gets along and can do exactly what makes them happy with no struggling and back stabbing. I didn't want to open because I knew it would make me cry. Love you all back there, sorry I left so many years ago.

Val & family, Sue was such a beautiful person, full of laughter, fun, and a caring person. Death cannot break the bond you had with your sister. Your devotion and care kept her going the past few years. I am proud to have Sue and you as my cousins. She is in heaven with the angels and no longer suffering. Sue will be missed.

To the Santerre and Zampaglione Family: Hi, my name is Joe Nestico (retired DEP Water Pollution Biologist ~40 years). I just found out about the passing away of Sue through another DEP colleague and it did affect me because we lost a great DEP "Family" member. I had the pleasure and good fortune to work together with Sue on occasion on various environmental problems. Half the "battle" of solving an environmental issue is working with the right people. Sue was the "right" type of person. Not only was it her ability to solve problems but it was her Smile that made working with her easy. You knew you had unconditional support and professionalism because of that Smile. Please accept my sincerest condolences during this difficult time.

Mr. and Mrs. Zampaglione,
I am so sorry to hear of this enormous loss for you and your family. Susan was a kind hearted, loving, lovable and very intelligent woman. I have many wonderful memories of time spent with Susan during our growing up years and throughout our twenties. She was a good friend. Santerre and Zampaglione Family,
I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Susan was a sweet and caring person who I had the pleasure of working with at the CT DEP for 15 years. Take comfort in her memory and knowing that she is at peace now from suffering and that she will be with you always in your hearts & minds and looking over you from above as your "guardian angel".
