VERREAULT, Theresa F.
Theresa F. Verreault, 89, of Rocky Hill, formerly of East Hartford, passed away on September 18, 2013. Theresa was born June 8, 1924 to the late Thomas and Alma Tremblay. Besides her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Reginald; son Daniel; two brothers, Maurice and Larry; and a sister Rolande. She is survived by a sister, Pauline Castonguay of Lewiston, ME; a niece Lisa Marcoux of Manchester, NH; a nephew Keith Castonguay of Lewiston, ME; a goddaughter, Kyleigh Makowski of Berlin, CT; her special friend and caretaker Heidi Aivano of Berlin, CT; the staff and friends at Atria Greenridge Place in Rocky Hill, CT, and numerous others. Special thanks to Andrew House Rehab & Nursing Facility, New Britain and Masonicare Hospice, East Hartford for their support and care during these past several weeks.
Services will be held on Friday, October 11, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108. Friends are asked to gather at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Theresa's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
