Sharlene - I'm so very sorry for your loss. Tom was always a kind and gentle man, and a good friend. I still tell the story about how Tom and I were briefly detained by the CT State Police when a bunch of us guys paid an off-season visit back in the 1970's to my family cottage in Old Lyme, and neighbors thought we were vandalizing the place. I don't know which one of us was more surprised a few years later when I showed up at the Wickham Park Apartments in a Yellow Cab one weekend morning to bring Private Valvo and all his field gear to drill with the 143rd MPs at the West Hartford Armory. I will always treasure those memories. God bless. Thoughts and prayers.

Rest in Peace, Tom. I remember the several hikes we took through CT forests & trails, and our White Mountains vacation in '72. May God's Grace wrap & support Charlene and your family.
