Thomas WOOLDRIDGE Obituary
WOOLDRIDGE, Thomas H.
Thomas H. Wooldridge, 64, of Glastonbury, passed away peacefully Sunday, (May 26, 2013) with his loving family by his side. Thomas is survived by his devout wife of 41 years, Rita McGuinness Wooldridge, and his children Jessica M. Wooldridge and her life-partner Dennis R. Torres of Lordship-Stratford; Melissa Wooldridge Breton, her husband John O. Breton, Jr., and their two sons, Mason Ryan Thomas Breton and Porter Jean Luc Breton of South Glastonbury; and Heather R.C.Wooldridge and her life-partner Bruce B. Ickes of Baltimore, MD. Thomas is also survived by his only sister, Janice Wooldridge Marsh, and her family of Farmington. Thomas was born on April 8, 1949, son of the late Homer F. and Ramona Warren Wooldridge. He was raised in West Hartford, then made Glastonbury his permanent residence. Thomas was a successful Public Insurance Adjuster. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing on his boat, The Wild Goose.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the Wooldridge family on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave., Glastonbury. A Memorial Mass will be held for Thomas on Wednesday, May 29 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury (all attendees are asked to gather directly at the church). I knew Tommy in high school - and ran into him years later when I lived in Glastonbury- always a great guy- with a great smile - I am so sorry for all of you - a huge loss - but Heaven's gain-- may you always hold wonderful memories close to your hearts -

Dear Rita and Janice and families,
I was so very sorry to hear of Tommy's passing. What a loss to everyone he ever touched. A true gentleman and faithful friend, wonderful and proud father.We had lots of fun growing up and when ever we ran into each other in our less wild days. I am sure he will be looking down at us and making fun of us until we join him

Tom was a great friend and loving person ! What he and Rita has done for my family is unforgettable ! May God receive him in his loving arms and give the family the strength they'll need to keep going . He will be missed . I loved Tom because he showed me that there were still good people on earth . As I will not see you and the family, I did want to say how very sorry I was to hear of Tom's passing. We occasionally would talk on the phone about our families as we did some insurance work together.

My thoughts, love and prayers go to the Wooldridge family. I'm so sorry for your lose. I've been working at Gaylord Hospital for the last 10 years and I have never met a person like Tom. He was funny, kind hearted, and so loving. I will truly miss him and he will always be in my heart. I love you Uncle Tom!
