Thomas Wheeler Obituary
Thomas C. Wheeler, 49, formally from Granby, CT, died Sunday, January 26, 2014 at his residence in Morrisonville NY surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Ellenville, NY on February 15, 1964 the son of Robert and Anne E. (Davidson) Wheeler. Thomas graduated from Granby Memorial High School in 1984. He married Emily Hoy on October 12, 1991 in Dannemora, NY.
Thomas served our country for over 22 years in the Marine Corps and as a member of the Security Police for the 158th Security Forces Squadron with the Vermont Air National Guard. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and hiking.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Wheeler of Morrisonville NY; one brother, Robert Wheeler of Southwick, MA and Robert's son, Derek Wheeler; one sister, Ruth-Anne Wheeler of Granby, CT; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, his Bulldog, Tater and his cat, Gizzy. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Anne Wheeler and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Mary Hoy.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh NY
A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Entombment will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens, Plattsburgh NY.
Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice Care of the North Country.

Yet another one of the great people we have had the pleasure to know in our lives is gone way too soon. I remember all the way back to high school how much fun it was to be around Tom. RIP and you will be missed by all who ever knew you.
