FALLS, Virginia N.
Virginia N. Falls, 91, of Manchester, wife of 65 years to the late Harold T. Falls, died Monday (October 7, 2013) at Vernon Manor, where she resided for over two years. The oldest of four children, Virginia was born in the Broad Brook section of East Windsor, the daughter of the late James Joseph Norton, Sr. and Mary C. (Healy) Norton and lived in Manchester for 63 years. A communicant of the Church of the Assumption, she was active in Girl Scouts and after retiring from the insurance industry, she enjoyed trips to Ogunquit, ME with her late husband, reading and tending to her flower gardens. Virginia is survived by her children Kathleen Falls and her husband Robert Asch of Groton, MA and Kevin Falls of Manchester; her sisters-in-law Helen Norton and Mary Rose Ciparelli, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins. Virginia was predeceased by her sisters, Madeline (Norton) Judenis, Eileen M. Norton, and her brother James J. Norton, Jr. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the great people at Vernon Manor for her wonderful care.
