Virginia Overson Obituary

Virginia (Wyman) Overson of Williston, ND, passed away on Thursday, Nov 28 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ginny was born in Hartford on February 12, 1943, the daughter of William Milton & Olive (Buckland) Wyman. She grew up in West Granby and graduated from Granby Memorial High School, Class of 1961. Like many local teens in that era, her first job was working in tobacco, and later worked for Drs. Robert Milkey & Forrest Davis in the early days of their veterinary practice. She married Clarence Overson on Sept 2, 1964 and they subsequently moved to Clarence's home state of North Dakota. Ginny was active in her church & taught Sunday School for many years. Among her many hobbies, she enjoyed gardening, quilting and baking. She was employed by the Williston office of Edward Jones for 26 years. She is survived by her children and their families: Kim & Mike Isenhower, Karen & Mike Perritte, Todd & Mandy Overson and Terri & Kirby Bendixson and her stepdaughter Becki Bishop and many grandchildren & great-children. She is also survived by her mother, Olive Wyman of Chester, VT, and her six brothers & three sisters and their families: Ron & Eve Wyman of Fort Mill, SC, Juanita Springer of Van Nuys, CA, Nelson Wyman & Jo Marchetti of Newington, Paul & Gail Wyman and Ralph & Jan Wyman of North Windham, VT, Coralyn Farrar of Chester, VT, Marilyn Wyman of West Granby, Richard & Terri Wyman of Townshend, VT and Larry & Susie Wyman of So.
