Virginia Pandolfo Obituary
Virginia Carta Pandolfo, beloved wife of Anthony J. Pandolfo, passed into eternal rest on November 15, 2013. Born October 7, 1944, in Middletown, daughter of Carl and Jennie Carta, she is survived by son Jeff Pandolfo and daughters, Tricia Pandolfo and Lisa Carlson. She also leaves behind three sisters, Rose Marie Hajek of Blufton, SC, Mary Ann Giuffrida and Camille Salamone of Middletown. Virginia retired from the Middletown Board of Education and enjoyed her winters in Florida and the remainder of the year enjoying time with her family, especially her grandchildren, in CT. She volunteered at St. Francis of Assisi church both as a lector and an active participant in the church fair. She volunteered at the Middlesex Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Cromwell. Friends and family alike remember her for her outgoing personality, easygoing nature, boundless compassion for others, and eternal love of the beach. The family will receive friends at D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 S. Main St. on Wednesday, November 20, from 4-7p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be held Thursday, November 21, at 11am, St. Francis Parish, 10 Elm St., in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of CT, 372 Danbury Rd, Suite 200, Wilton, CT 06897. Donations may also be sent in Ginny's memory to Middlesex Hospital, Office of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent St, Middletown, CT 06457.

Tony & Family So very sorry to hear about the passing of my beautiful classmate Ginny. What a wonderful spirit she had about life in general. Dear Tony,
Vic and I are so sorry for the loss of Ginny. I'll always remember her for her beautiful smile and warm personality. It was so nice to meet you and Ginnie in Venice, Fl. I wish we were able to spend more time with you there. There is truly a loss in this world without her but we know she is now resting in wonderful peace free from sickness. Dear Tony & Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Ginny was the most wonderful person I have ever met. Her joy for life and her kindness to all of those she know. She was so brave. With everything she had to deal with in her life. She never would give up her love of life and her love for all of her family and friends.
