Werner Mueller Obituary
Werner F. Mueller of Aspen Dr. Middletown beloved husband of 49 years Gwen ( Holder ) Mueller died on Monday at his residence surrounded by his family. Born on March 5, 1941 in Brooklyn, N.Y. son of the late Otto and Clara ( Mueller ) Mueller. He was a graduate of Chelsea High School in New York. Werner was employed for many years at the Crestridge Foods Co. and retired in 2010 from the Jarvis Airfoil Co. in Portland. A veteran serving in the U.S.Army and was stationed in Germany. A member of St. Pius X church. Besides his wife Werner is survived by his loving family a son Walter Mueller of Middletown, a daughter Charlene Overstreet of Middletown. 2 sisters Mildred Neitlich of Plainview , L.I. N.Y. , Margaret Ranieri of Nesconset, L.I. N.Y. 2 grandchildren Heather and Mark Overstreet also several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the Coughlin- Lastrina Funeral Home 491 High St. Middletown followed by a mass of christian burial in St. Pius X church at 10 am. Burial with full military honors will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery Middlefield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 pm.

I remember Werner as young soldier here in Germany when visiting us in Darmstadt-Arheilgen. We always had been in contact with his parents Otto and Klara (as brother of my grandpa). If somebody wants to know more about the past time of Otto and his first experiences and difficult times in the US please be free to contact me.
