William Osada "Bill" Osada

William V. "Bill" Osada, 92, of Enfield, loving husband of Vilma (Guerra) Osada for 62 years, entered into eternal peace on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28th, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. The son of Roman and Maria Osada, Bill was born in Pruchnik, Poland and immigrated to the U.S. in 1950. He had lived in Windsor Locks for over 50 years and was a member of St. Mary Church, before moving to Enfield. He retired from Terry Steam Turbine in 1986 after being employed 33 years with the company. Bill was an accomplished Ballroom dancer, and enjoyed gracefully moving across the floor with his favorite partner and true love Vilma. Besides his wife, Bill is survived by a son Donald J. Osada and his wife Wendy of Enfield; three grandchildren, Kelly, Rachel, and Christian Osada; a great grandson, Silas Osada; and many nieces and nephews in Germany and Poland. Bill was predeceased by a son, Gary M. Osada; two brothers, and two sisters. Bill's family would like to thank the St. Francis Hospital 10th floor staff and Hospice for their compassionate care of Bill. Calling hours will be held Sunday Dec. 8, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. with a memorial service following at 3:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield.
