William K. Wynn

William K. Wynn, Lt. Colonel (Ret), 91, of Honolulu, HI and formerly of Wethersfield, passed away on December 20, 2013 after a short illness. In 1985, Bill retired to Honolulu after a long career at Connecticut General (Cigna) in the printing division in Bloomfield. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II where he served in the South Pacific. He was also a member of the Connecticut Army National Guard, 169th Infantry Division, where he served during the Korean War and was stationed in Munich, Germany. He continued to serve in the Army National Guard until his retirement in 1969. He is survived by his wife, Helen of Honolulu; his son, Bruce Wynn and his wife, Fran, of East Berlin; his granddaughter, Shari Kraus and her husband, John, and their son, Matthew of Kensington, and granddaughter, Stacey DelGiorno and her husband, Roger, and their sons, Andrew and David of East Berlin; his brother-in-law, Charles J. Steinmiller, Jr. of Wethersfield, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy (Steinmiller) Wynn, and his daughter, Joan Wynn. Private services will be held in Honolulu, HI and Rocky Hill.
