Willie RUFF Obituary
RUFF SR., Willie James
Willie James Ruff Sr., affectionately known as Bill, 78 of Hartford went home to the lord on Thursday (October 17, 2013) peacefully at home. Bill leaves behind his loving children Rose (Alex) Quinones of Hartford, Diane Moody of New Britain, LaVern (Nate) Brown of Middletown, Willie J. Ruff Jr. (Buck) and Michael Ruff of Hartford. 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister; two brothers, nieces; nephews; cousins and friends; including his best friend of 55 years, Walter Jordan. The Ruff family would like to thank Dr. Belsky, Dr. Gerardi and Interim Healthcare (Hospice) Services.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Home on 94 Granby St., Bloomfield, CT 06002. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. with services beginning at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.

Uncle Bill have been a part of my life since I was a little girl I just spoke with him this past June and was happy to know he recoginized my voice, we chuckled together one last time on that phone conversation, I will hold that memory close to my heart...I remember him and my dad (Daddy Walt) always going hunting, fishing, work and on trips together and Uncle Bill coming to the house.
He was so very nice, with one of the most trusting smiles and tone of voice. Although I am sadden of his leaving this earth, I also rejoice in knowing that he is with our Lord in heaven. Submitted with much Love, Sug

To the Ruff family, I am sorry to here about the passing of your dad. We call him Bill. I have known this family science I came to Hartford years ago. This was the first family I known. He will be missed dearly. I send my sympathy to the family.
