GAGNE, Adeline M.
Adeline M. Gagne, 93, of Enfield, passed away peacefully July 5, 2012 at Suffield House, Suffield, CT. She was born in Waterville, ME, Oct. 2, 1918, daughter of the late Odias and Georgianna Champagne. She relocated to CT and married Joseph O. Gagne on Nov. 27, 1937. She worked at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford for 16 years. Although she and Joseph retired to ME, she returned to CT in 2008 and remained here until her passing. Adeline loved music, dance and most of all her family. She enjoyed many trips to Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1988, as well as her daughter Germaine Carpenter, and her sons Raymond and Dana Gagne. She is survived by her daughter Theresa Hunter and her husband Paul of East Windsor, CT and her son Gerard (Buzz) Gagne and his wife Nancy of Enfield, CT. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She will be forever missed.
Family and friends may gather at Veilleux Funeral Home, Waterville, ME on Friday July 6, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the Notre Dame Catholic Church. Burial will be held at V.A. Cemetery, Augusta, ME at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
