FEINER, Andrew Scott

Andrew Scott Feiner, 24, of Tariffville died suddenly Saturday (March 2, 2013). Andrew was born Nov. 17, 1988 the second child to Nancy O'Brien and Donald Feiner. He is survived by his parents and sister Kate. He was a 2006 graduate of Hall High School. He served in the U.S. Army with tours state side, Korea, and Afghanistan. Andrew was a hero. After his discharge from the service Andrew set up residence in Tariffville and enrolled at Tunxis Community College. He was a member of AHCC. He worked with the Spirit Hill Program, Youth Commission, and enjoyed caring for children. He loved vintage cars. Andrew had a great sense of humor and a huge heart. Andrew will be forever loved and missed by his grandparents, Janet O'Brien of West Hartford and Shirley and Sy Feiner of Boynton Beach, FL; aunts and uncles: Bill O'Brien of West Hartford, Kathleen Tracy of Windsor, Tom O'Brien of West Hartford, Mary O'Brien of Salisbury, Joan Greenfield and Scott Guilmartin of Suffield, Bruce, Robert and Polly Feiner of West Hartford; and cousins Abby and Chris Hoffman, Maggie O'Brien, Liam O'Brien, Brett Greenfield, Jennie, Gordon, Zachary and Bianca Feiner and his many friends, especially Kat Marie Foy.
There will be an 11 a.m. ceremony Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Asylum Hill Congregational Church, 814 Asylum Ave., Hartford, followed by a reception in Drew Hall celebrating Andrew's life, "Forever Young". Burial will be private. Friends may call on this Friday, March 8, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave., West Hartford.
