To all of Lee's Children and Grandchildren,
Your Mom and Grand ma was a very special person and I have some wonderful memories of the things we did while we served together in the Senate. She loved all of you, she loved your Dad and she loved representing Bridgeport and Trumbull. She shared so many stories of what it was like growing up in Bridgeport and was so very proud of her heritage. She was a caring and compassionate woman. She would go through all of sorts of hoops to serve those she loved so very much. She treated each one of her constituents as if they were family. What a legacy.
I hope your memories will be of all the good times you shared. She was so proud of all of you.
Fondly,
Judi

I was so sorry to read about your Mom's passing. Debbie and I used to take turns getting her Cappuccino on Saturday evenings at Pasta Fresca. I miss those days with all of you at the restaurant. Those were the good old days!

Doreen & Scarpetti families,
I will always remember speaking with your mother at Pasta Fresca in Newtown - most especially at this time of the year. I fondly remember bringing my own four children to the store and she would be busy making the Easter meat pies. She would always come to speak to the children with her apron on and full of flour! I would explain to my children that she was our state senator and not afraid to work at anything and get her hands dirty. A lesson learned for us all.
She was truly an inspiration in every way. I know that these wonderful memories will comfort you all during this difficult time and her legacy will live on through all of you.
With sincere sympathy,
Angela Rizio
