He enjoyed golfing and skiing, and was an avid sports fan, with an encyclopedic knowledge of all sports, especially of the Red Sox and UCONN football and basketball teams. Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Kevin Witkowski of Durham; paternal grandmother, Mary Witkowski of Durham, uncles Dr. William Witkowski of Middletown, Alan Korn and his wife Barbara of San Antonio, Texas and Richard Korn of Floresville, Texas and his cousins and close friends. Recently diagnosed with epilepsy, Brian lived his life enthusiastically, but with a gentle easy going manner. All who knew him loved him.
