Brittany Ann O'Brien, 23, of Bolton, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, passed away peacefully, Saturday, (May 11, 2013), at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Brittany was born July 20, 1989 in Hartford, was raised in Bolton. Brittany is an Angel from Heaven; Brittany would help anybody in need, no matter what the problem was. Brittany loves her brother and best friend, Joey more than anyone in the world, Brittany and Joey would always hang out and just have fun together. Brittany loves her father; there is a special bond between Father and Daughter which will last for eternity. Brittany loves her fiancé Jason. Brittany loves all animals, especially her dog Buddy, he was her friend, Buddy would want to do whatever Brittany was doing. Brittany is a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, which she loves very much. Brittany really loves basketball and softball, her favorite sports to play. Most importantly, Brittany is the best daughter a father could ever ask for, Brittany would comfort me in times of need and help me in any way she could. Brittany is also the best sister in the world; she would help Joey with whatever he needed. Brittany was always there for Joey and her Dad, no matter what she was doing, she would always make time to help us. One of Brittany's favorite things to do was to go with Joey for walks down the trails in the woods and just being in nature with all the beautiful trees and animals, Brittany just really enjoyed Life and nature. Brittany will be fondly remembered by her loving family; her father, Thomas O'Brien; a brother, Joseph O'Brien, both of Bolton; her paternal grandparents, Frances and Thomas O'Brien Sr., of East Hartford; three aunts, Sharon Hubbard, Doreen Junious, both of South Windsor, Dyan Acosta and her husband Ramon, of East Hartford; in addition to many close nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects to Brittany and her family on Monday, May 20, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave., Glastonbury. A Prayer Service will be held at 8 p.m. in the Funeral Home with Fr. Thomas Hickey officiating. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 21, at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hebron Ave. at Wickham Rd., Glastonbury.
