After graduation she worked at Litchfield Petroleum in Hartford and after a few years joined her husband managing the books for their insurance agency, J.C. Bauer Insurance of Farmington. Kristen Phelps and husband Brendan, Jeffrey Bauer, Alicia Hebert and husband Sean, Laura Prusaczyk and husband Ryan, Daniel Pozzo, Randi Daniels and husband Jimmy. Carolyn was a lifelong member of the West Hartford United Methodist Church, serving on numerous committees and running the Harvest Fair for many years.
