FARACI, Carolyn G.
Carolyn (Giza) Faraci, 77, beloved wife of the late Armando" Mondo" Faraci of 225 Farm Hill Rd, passed away Thursday at Ct. Hospice Branford. She was born February 18, 1935 in Middletown, daughter of the late Albert and Sophie Giza. She was a member of St. Sebastian Church and prior to her retirement she was Secretary at Mondo's service station. She was a very special person who loved everyone and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by two sons David Faraci and Robert Faraci of Middletown. A daughter Joanne Roy of Southington. two sisters Mary Rudrow of Baltimore and Dorothy Hornak of Hamden Her beloved grandchildren Daniel, Jennifer and Caroline Roy. Stefanie, Nathaniel Faraci and Nicholas, Brandon Faraci, also several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Bernard Giza. Three sisters Celia Gammons, Rose Kelly and Kathryn Kenney, a son in law Christopher Roy and a daughter in law Lucette T. Faraci. Carolyn's Family would like to thank Family and friends for their loving support during her illness it is greatly appreciated.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. from the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St Sebastian Church. Burial will be in the State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Monday from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Middlesex Hospital Hospice Unit c/o of Dept. of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent St.

So sorry that we weren't able to be there with you. I'll always remember that whenever I saw your mom & dad they would comment on how much fun it was to take me (as a little girl) to Savin Rock Amusement Park and watch me have a fun time on the roller coaster. I'm sure your Dad was thrilled to welcome your Mom Home - they were a wonderful couple. I have so many fond memories of them from Grove Street and from their great Halloween parties.
