Evelyn Hoglen Obituary

HOGLEN, Evelyn (DiPaola) Evelyn (DiPaola) Hoglen, widow of Roy V. Hoglen, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, (May 23, 2006), in Deltona, FL. She was born in Hartford to the late Anthony and Filomena Vendetti DiPaola. She is survived by her daughter Rita H. Scanlon of Rocky Hill, and son Frank A. Hoglen and wife Shirley of Deltona, FL; four granddaughters, Mary, Maureen and Kim Scanlon of Rocky Hill, and Ruth Hoglen of New Britian; and great-granddaughters, Caitlyn and Marah Wakefield, and Devin Cranmer, all of Rocky Hill. She is also survived by her brother Anthony DiPaola and wife Sandra, her sisters Anna Pollansky and husband Andrew, Kathleen Bachand, Joyce Perkins and husband Edward, and brother-in-law Alan Bell. She leaves many nieces and nephews, including god-daughter Paula Lako and her very special nephew Richard Bachand. She was predeceased by her husband Roy, brother Frank DiPaola, sister Mary Bell, brother-in-law Edward Bachand, and nephew Edward Bachand, Jr. Thank you to Dottie, Clint, Nancy, Jack and Bernice for their many years of friendship. There will be no calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
