Frank CARINI Obituary


Frank Carini, 78, of Bristol, passed away on August 18, 2013. Born in New Britain in 1935, he graduated from NB High School. He served in the Marine Corps. during the Korean Conflict. Frank was Chief of the X-ray Department at Bristol Hospital until 1980. He owned a tee shirt store at the Bristol Centre Mall and retired as a corrections officer for the State of CT. He was known as the "walker" and rode a Harley motorcycle for 10 years. Frank is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Lottie Cararini (New Britain), and his brother Robert Cararini (New Hartford). He is survived by Mike Cararini, his son, Della Logan, his daughter, her husband David, and his three grandchildren: Cortney, Chelsey, Ethan Logan, many cousins, nephews, and friends of McDonalds coffee crew.
Calling hours are Saturday Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 355 Camp St., Bristol, CT with a memorial service at 11 a.m. and a reception afterwards. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gloria Dei Memorial Fund.
