CARBONE, Frederick
Frederick Carbone, 56, passed away on Friday, (August 17, 2012) at HCC at New Britain General. He was born in Southington on Dec. 7, 1955, the son of the late Robert T. and Julanne (Ludecke) Carbone. Fred was a 1973 graduate of St. Paul's High School in Bristol. He recently retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Sons of Italy Club and their bocci league as well as the Polish Falcon Nest #307. Fred was an avid trout fisherman. He is survived by two sons Matthew J. Carbone of Tampa, FL and Michael R. Carbone and fiancé Katelyn Moore of Wethersfield, nine brothers and sisters, Philip Carbone and fiancé Marcia Sarkin of Buffalo, NY, Thomas Carbone and wife Pamela of Harwinton, Julanne Carbone of Allentown, PA, Stephen Carbone and wife Tracey of Plantsville, Jonathan Carbone and wife Sheila of Southington, Robert Carbone and wife Cindy of Bristol, David Carbone and wife Marlene of Plantsville, Ellen Carbone of Southington, Colleen Tsangarides and husband Thomas of Milldale, Fred's girlfriend Vicki Brickett and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St. Plantsville. Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. for online condolences and directions visit www.dellavecchiafh.com
