I remember Gramps and his signature LL Bean shirts and that one time he sent a picture of himself to LL Bean with the shirt he wanted and everyone at the LL Bean headquarters was cracking up about it. Classic Gramps.

I remember when Gramps took Domenic and me to see some old-timey airplanes at some airfield. It must have been at least 15 years ago. He kept telling us all of these plane stories and I wasn't really sure what was going on. Then, he took us to Wendy's for lunch. For whatever reason, sitting down at Wendy's eating lunch that day is one of my most vivid memories with him. I distinctly remember him saying, "They make a good sandwich here" and me nodding in agreement as I inhaled my Spicy Chicken sandwich. What a great lunch.
