BOUCHER, Gisele (Martin)
Gisele (Martin) Boucher, of Enfield entered into eternal life at the age of 84, on Friday (November 2, 2012) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford with her loving family at her side. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence Boucher in 1991. Gisele was born on September 30, 1928 in St. Agatha, ME, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Alice (Baron) Martin and had resided in Enfield for over 50 years. Prior to her retirement in 1989 Gisele was employed by Lego Systems, Inc. for over 15 years. A loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Gisele devoted her life to her family and caring for her home, she loved spending time with family especially during the holidays and special occasions and she leaves many fond memories for them to cherish. She will be greatly missed.
Gisele is survived by her two loving sons and daughters-in-law; Ronald & Anita Boucher of Somers and Philip & Sharon Boucher of Ellington, her four beloved grandchildren; Jamison Boucher & wife Kelly of Ellington, Tammy Young Cote & husband Marc of Enfield, Rebecca Bedard & husband Justin of Princeton, MA and Kristen Keokoummane & husband Lee of Enfield, her four great grandchildren; Jamison, Nicholas and Kaylee Cote and Braydon Bedard. She is also survived by her siblings; Oscar Martin of Hartford, Lorraine Dufour, Francoise Plourde and Louise Tardif all of Maine along with many nieces and nephews. Gisele was also predeceased by her brothers Maurice, Charles, and Louis Martin; and her sisters Florine Caron and Solange Plourde.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Saturday (November 10, 2012) from 9:30-11 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Martha Church 214 Brainard Rd. Enfield. Interment will be at the convenience of her family in St. Bernard Cemetery, Enfield.
