Janet L. (Weber) Grabowski

GRABOWSKI, Janet L. (Weber) Janet L. (Weber) Grabowski, 47, of Andrew Drive, Canton, beloved wife of Karl A. Grabowski, died Wednesday, (September 9, 2009) at home. She was born May 10, 1962 in Old Tappen, NJ, daughter of the late Jack and Lorraine (Miller) Weber and had lived in Glastonbury prior to moving to Canton 15 years ago. Janet was a graduate of the University of Connecticut, Class of 1984, where she received her Masters Degree in Education. Mrs. Grabowski was a Teacher in the Plainville School System for over 22 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Collinsville. A life long sports enthusiast, Janet excelled at volleyball and track at Glastonbury high school. She loved her New York Yankees and was an avid football fan. One of her greatest joys was watching Nick and Jacq at their many sporting events. Besides her husband of 18 years, she is survived by her son, Nicholas Grabowski and her daughter, Jacqueline Grabowski, both of Canton; four brothers, Tom Weber of Glen Mills, PA, Tim Weber of Chester Springs, PA, Randy Weber of Taunton, MA and Rick Weber of Berkeley Springs, WV and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton, Sunday, September 13, 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 14, 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Collinsville.
