SEWARD, Jodie (Cianci)

Jodie (Cianci) Seward, 50, beloved wife of Wade Seward of Bloomfield, passed on Saturday, (September 8, 2012). Jodie was born in New Britain, the daughter of MaryAnn (Denuzze) Cianci of Kensington and the late Joseph Cianci, she made her home in Bloomfield for the past seven years, moving from New Britain. Jodie was a devoted wife and the best mother that two daughters could have. Throughout her illness she inspired her family with her devotion, faith and unwavering love. She will be greatly missed. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by two loving daughters, Cara and Haley Seward; her sister Natalie Bombassei of Kensington; her nephew and niece, Joseph and Julia Bombassei and countless extended family members and friends.
In keeping with Jodie's spirit, her life will be celebrated on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 3 p.m. at Holy Family Retreat Center, 303 Tunxis Rd, West Hartford. The family asks that people arrive at 2:45 p.m. There will be an opportunity for people to share a special memory during the service. Following the mass there will be a reception in the dining hall. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Holy Family Retreat Center, a place that is special in their hearts, at the above address or online at www.holyfamilyretreat.org.
