LAGRO, Karen "Kay"
Karen "Kay" Lagro, 74, of Windsor, beloved wife of the late Andrew K. Lagro, Sr. passed away Saturday, (August 4, 2012) at Hartford Hospital. Born October 17, 1937 in Hartford, daughter of the late Clifford and Ethel (Hart) Carde she grew up in Simsbury and graduated from Simsbury High School. She later moved to Granby and then to Windsor. Kay got much enjoyment from gardening, bird watching and being with her dog, Charlie. She is survived by two sons, Tim Sokoloski and his wife, Valerie of Windsor, Andrew K. Lagro, Jr. and his wife, Theresa of Windsor, two daughters, Katie Elkins of Vermont, Lynn Rossi and her husband, Joe of Bristol; six grandchildren, Derek Elkins, Dana Elkins, Brian Sokoloski, Bonnie Sokoloski, Ashley Lagro and Mark O'Donnell; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Orin Carde.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012, 7:30 p.m. at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor.
