Born in Hartford on October 7, 1933, the sixth of seven children born to the late Frederick Guy Cooper and Lucina M. Niles. A Mohegan Indian descendant and Windsor native, Louise settled in West Hartford in 1999 where she resided for the past 22 years. Louise worked many years as a private nurse who provided loving and compassionate care to a family that embraced her as a family member. She was a vibrant and social lady who was well known and loved in the Fellowship Housing and surrounding community. She always greeted all with a smile and welcomed a smile in return. Louise would always leave everyone she met with the message, "have a safe journey home." Louise leaves her children, Lucina A. Garced of New Britain, Llewellyn Weaver III of Windsor, Marcie L. McCone of Taunton, MA, Helena M. Elliot of Hebron, and Marshall Weaver of Hartford; and a wealth of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
