Martin Doctoroff Obituary

The honorable Martin M. Doctoroff, 69, of Birmingham, MI, brother of Dr. Stephen Doctoroff of West Hartford, died Tuesday, (July 9, 2002) after a long courageous battle with ALS. He was the husband of the late Allene Doctoroff, Ph.D. Until the last month of his illness, Judge Doctoroff was a very active and vital member of his community and family. He was an Appeals Court Judge in the State of Michigan serving as Chief Judge from 1992-1997. He leaves a second brother, Michael of Natick, MA; two loving sisters-in-law; four sons and their wives; seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and numerous devoted friends. Individuals who desire to make memorial contributions may do so to ALS of Michigan, 21311 Civic Center Drive, No. 200, Southfield, MI 48076 or to the charity of their choice.
