I was shocked to learn today that Mike had passed away. We worked together in Rocky Hill & I looked forward to seeing him down in Hamden. He was a great guy & I loved his sense of humor. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will never forget when I first met him around 97 or 98. I asked him if he was married. He proudly said "No, I never even came close" When he lived on Church St in Hartford I remember asking about his furnishings & he said he didn't have a bureau-wasn't that what floors were for?
I have a lot of happy memories of Mike and although we hadn't worked together for years, I always kept track of him through the phone company grapevine.
I'm glad I have so many good memories of a great guy.

As I sat at Barkhamsted Elementary School tonight, seeing my grandson in a program, my son Mark told me about Michael. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mike was a great friend throughout the high school years and he'll be dearly missed. As Dan K. mentioned...a true Kai Warrior!

Margaret & Gene,
I was saddened to read about Mike's death in the Courant today. He and Shawn were great friends as they grew up together on Ratlum Road. Your loss must be heartbreaking and you have my deepest sympathy.
