FARRINGTON, Rose Mary (Hattwig)
Rose Mary (Hattwig) Farrington, born Nov. 10, 1933 in Hartford, fell asleep peacefully on March 1, 2013, and is now in the memory of Jehovah God. She leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years, CW4 James F. Farrington Jr. - US Army (ret), two sons, James F. Farrington III and his wife Joan, and David Farrington and his wife Christine; a daughter Donna (Farrington) Pinney and her husband Tim; a granddaughter Jasmine (Pinney) Burns and her husband Paul Jr., a great granddaughter Kinsley Burns; two grandsons Tim Pinney Jr., and Raymond Pinney and his wife Courtney, a great granddaughter Jocelyn Pinney and great grandson Raymond Pinney Jr. She also leaves behind her sister Ursula (Dixie) Kubiak, a sister in law Rose Hattwig, and several nieces and nephews. Rose was pre-deceased by her parents Max and Mary Hattwig, and her brother William Hattwig. Rose worked in several banks in the area, and had been a long time member of girl scouts before becoming a dedicated and zealous Witness of Jehovah. She was a very loved member of the S. Windsor Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial talk will be given at 2 p.m. on Sat., March 9, at the S. Windsor Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 640 Burnham St., South Windsor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Town of East Hartford Paramedics Fund, 740 Main St., East Hartford, CT 06108 in thanks for all of the support and kindness they have provided to the family.
