Dear Pat & Family,
It was a pleasure to have been friends with Tom, even though it was a short time. I met him at a Chamber of Commerce networking event and then a couple of weeks later when he sponsored a Realtor seminar. We became instant friends. As a Realtor, I referred him to do some home inspections for buyers and he did a great professional job. I will miss him a lot. I wish you all the very best as you deal with the shock and pain of this untimely loss of such a good guy. GOD Loves him and called him home.

Jack & I are shocked at the news and so truly sorry for your loss. He was a great man and although we only spent a week with you both in Italy , we feel that we knew him a lifetime. Dear Pat and family, I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of Tom so early in his short life. I remember him to always have a smile on his face and a person with a good attitude. Dear Pat, James & Nathan,
I can only imagine the grief you are experiencing now. Tom was so very special. I've known him since 7th grade. We were each other's first date to a school dance that year. Know that he thought the world of his family and that he will always be with you. I will keep all of you in my thoghts and prayers.

Dear Pat and Family, I was very stocked, and saddened to hear of Toms passing. You have my deepest and sincere sympathy at this time.
Tom was a wonderful man! The time I spent with Tom, and you Pat, I will never forget. Our time at lake Placid, the golf we played in Massanutten and our trip to Cooperstown were some of the best times I can remember.
There were many things I admired about Tom, he was extremely intelligent, with a loud and infectious laugh, he was very quick witted with great sense of humor. I remember his love of books, golf, and most of all you Pat, and his family. It was always so very apparent that he Loved, and thought the world of his family.

My heart is broken at the loss of my very dear friend. Tom lived more in his 62 years than most do in a lifetime. He enjoyed life and all it had to offer...and then some. He was an outstanding husband, father, uncle, brother, and a friend to everyone who knew him. In high school he was always the center of mischief, each time trying to outdo the previous "good time" and we'd spend hours laughing and talking about them .... fond memories of our younger days! His laugh is one I will NEVER forget! He will be fondly remembered and life celebrated at our 45th reunion this summer!
My prayer, Pat, James & Nathan, is that you find peace knowing the Tom is with Amy in a much better place than here on earth and that one day you will see him again. May God's love surround you and give you peace and may the many wonderful memories you have of him make you smile. A tremendous loss to all who knew him.

Pat and family. Tom and I grew up together from grade school and would hang out from time to time in Holly Hill. We went on a boundary waters trip together in high school. Always looked forward to seeing him at the class reunions. He will be missed by many. Plan to keep him on my facebook as a wonderful memory of times past. Be well.

Dearest Pat, we were so saddened to hear the news. Tom B. and I will never forget 3 very special occasions that we spent with you and Tom, our day on the boat when I spent the whole day hanging over the side (your Tom thought that was so funny), the glorious day when we moved you into your first WH home after your marriage, and the blessed evening that we went Christmas caroling. Tom was the greatest boss I ever had. My wish at this point is that he has reconnected with Jack in heaven. I know how much Jack adored and respected your Tom.

My best wishes to Tom's family at this sad time. I have great memories of times spent with Tom at the American Society of Home Inspectors and sorry that I was not able to play golf with him a few months ago at his invitation after our mock home inspection.
His wit and genuine friendliness I will especially remember. He was an inspiration to all of us fellow home inspectors.

I am truly saddened by Tom’s sudden passing. We first met at an American Society of Home Inspector meeting where we were both members. I take solace in the fact that I had an opportunity to be impacted by his quick wit, willingness to help anytime, tenacity to get the job done and commitment to making everyone around him a little better. I’ll celebrate Tom’s influence and accomplishments and live life to the fullest remembering how others can provide so much for us even in their passing. Tom will surely be missed.

Hello Pat, My prayers go out to you and your family. I was Tom's personal trainer for 5-6 months and within that time span, I felt as if I had known him for years. He was an ambitious, spry, courageous, witty, and warmhearted friend that will be greatly missed.

Dear Pat, Nathan, James and Family,
Tom was a class act and a funny one at that. He was the best boss I ever had while working at Aetna in National Accounts. Tom was so smart/dedicated and stayed so focused. He would pull his glasses down on his nose when he was in serious mode. Tom spoke so fondly of his two sons Nathan and James and when he met Pat he was smitten with Pat immediately. When he told me he was going to get engaged to Pat the first thing I said was get her a big beautiful diamond ring she is a very nice girl. Tom was the best and was a great mentor to all of us at Aetna. I used to laugh as I handled his travel arrangements at Aetna and if his plane was leaving at 5:00 Tom would leave the office at 3:30 and dash like heck to the airport. He would just make it. I was always so scared he would miss his flights.

Pat there are no words that can express the shock and sadness we are all feeling with the loss of Tom. The years spent with Tom and you boating in Noank, sailing the islands, golfing, hiking and playing cards in Cooperstown will always be a fond memory of the good times we had together. I know that you and the boys will miss Tom dearly as will everyone else. God bless you and the Ackman family during these tough times.

I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. You probably don't remember me, but I worked with Tom at the Aetna and spent an evening with him in Nashville when we both worked for Willis. I also believe that I met you in Hartford at a broker "event" (Yankee game) and was so surprised that you and Tom were back in CT. Again, I am so sad for your loss !

Tom lead such a life as only dreamed by many. What a life to be celebrated was his! A loving man with an equally loving wife, sons and family! And a robust laugh unmatched by anyone I know! Pat, I am shocked and saddened by Tom's unexpected passing. In the few times we met he was always a lively character who was full of life and brought smiles to everyone's face. No one will be able to fill his shoes as a wingman to keep the ladies entertained in Key West! He truly was the best. I hope your many years together will help you through these trying times. As his older cousin, I have probably known Tom longer than anyone. So sorry for his passing. I loved his robust laugh and enjoyed playing matchbox cars with him as a child. I am thinking of all of you. Both Buddy and I send our condolences.
